Officer Lara started his law enforcement career with the Wyandotte County sheriff’s office where he worked for 3 years before accepting a job with Bonner Springs Police Department.  He is a fluent Spanish speaker and is a certified EMT (emergency medical technician). Officer Lara has been a resident of Kansas City since 2017 and enjoys training Brazilian jujitsu and staying physically fit.
