Heather Pate has served the City of Bonner Springs as an Officer since 2009. In 2014, Heather was promoted to the rank of Sergeant where she has served in Patrol, Investigations, and the Community Action Team. Heather was promoted to the rank of captain in 2023 and currently serves as the Patrol Division Commander.  Heather also handles all media inquires and social media for the department.

Heather received both her Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Pittsburg State University.
