General Information
The off-street parking and loading regulations of the zoning ordinance have specific requirements for the parking of vehicles and recreational and contractor trailers and equipment in residential districts. Off-street parking in residential districts is allowed only on all-weather, dust-free driveways in the front yard.
Examples of Violations
- Contracting equipment or trailers stored on residential property where no construction work is being performed
- Pre-existing gravel driveway is not maintained and becomes overgrown with grass (an all-weather, dust-free driveway will be required to be kept in order to use the surface as a driveway)
- Property owner and/or tenant has more than two recreational vehicles / equipment parked on private property
- Vehicle is parked on the grass in a residential district
