Celebrating Bonner Springs' Heritage

The Bonner Springs-Edwardsville Chamber of Commerce sponsors Tiblow Days, the city's annual heritage festival. It is celebrated the last weekend in August, prior to Labor Day. Bonner Springs was originally named Tiblow in honor of Henry Tiblow, a Delaware Indian who operated a ferry across the Kansas River. The city was renamed Bonner Springs in the 1880s.
