Public Housing Authority


The Public Housing Authority provides low-income housing for eligible individuals and families. Our mission is to help persons with low and moderate incomes by providing safe, affordable housing. Also, we partner with community services agencies to promote economic opportunity in a suitable living environment free from discrimination.

About the Authority

The Bonner Springs Low-Rent Housing Development opened in 1970 and the City of Bonner Springs assumed management of the assisted housing program in 1977.

Housing Units

The Public Housing Authority manages 50 housing units. Vaughn-Dale Apartments is a three-story building consisting of studio and one-bedroom apartments and there are five four-plex sites containing two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments.
