Each year, the City addresses street maintenance projects by one of two methods.  The first is by using in-house Public Works staff to perform minor repairs and routine mainenance to selected streets.  For advanced repairs (the second method), the City bids repair work out to contractors for roadway repairs (both asphalt and concrete), curb and sidewalk replacement, and seal-coating.  A recommended list of streets is presented to the City Council for their approval.  Once approved, the list of streets is advertised for bid.
