The Community and Economic Development Department serves as the point of contact for industrial, commercial, retail, office, and residential developers and individuals seeking to bring a project to Bonner Springs.

Improving the Community
Community development actions work to improve the quality-of-life of residents through the development of municipal infrastructure, public amenities, and property maintenance.

Assisting Businesses
The department assists with new and relocating businesses and expansion projects for existing businesses. Assistance and information can be obtained from the department on local and state incentive programs, available buildings and sites, industrial park, transportation, doing business, and housing.  The city's team of multi-disciplinary staff provides help in all aspects of development which is central to successful economic development.
