Dogs and cats over the age of six months are required to have a license and be vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian. Bring your proof of vaccination to City Hall (205 East Second Street) or to the Police Department (130 North Nettleton), Bonner Springs, KS 66012, with the proper fee to obtain a license tag for your dogs and/or cats.

License Fees

• $7.50 per spayed or neutered animal.
• $25 for a breeding license for unspayed or unneutered animal unless the owner presents a written statement from a licensed vet that the animal cannot be spayed or neutered due to an extreme health condition. 
• $2.00 Duplicate Tag - Owners may obtain a duplicate tag if they lose the one issued, but must present the receipt for the original tag.

Additional Information
Beginning March 1st, a $5 penalty will be charged to pet owners who fail to renew a license. Veterinarians who sell Bonner Spring animal licenses are:
