Snow and Ice Removal Regulations for Public Sidewalks

Pedestrian safety is the No. 1 reason for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks. City regulations require public sidewalks be cleared within 48 hours at the end of snowfall when accumulation exceeds 2 inches. Failure to do so will result in a ticket.

City Seeks Snow Angel Volunteers

The City of Bonner Springs coordinates the “Snow Angels” Program to help elderly or disabled residents who are unable to remove snow from their sidewalks and driveways. The program connects volunteers to help clear snow with residents who need help.

Moran Hosts Town Hall Meeting - Bonner Springs Library

U.S. Senator Jerry Moran will host a Town Hall meeting for Wyandotte County residents, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 9:30 am to 10:30 a.m. at the City Library, 201 N. Nettleton. Area residents can attend and share feedback on critical issues.
